As part of Careem’s commitment to the UN Women’s Empowerment Principles (WEP), the Trust and Safety team brought in Intelyse’s safety and security training team to deliver female travel safety training.
The UN Women’s Empowerment Principles are a set of 7 Principles for businesses offering guidance on how to empower women in the workplace, marketplace and community. WEP is a Globally Driven Partnership between the United Nations Entity for Gender Equality and the Empowerment of Women and the United Nations Global Compact.
Intelyse is well-versed in the risks female travelers face; both from operating in the travel risk management sector and from staff experience across the globe.
The training offers insight on the importance of travel safety for women, the risks female travelers face, and techniques to mitigate those risks. The main aim to raise awareness, equip those traveling with ways to combat travel risks, and reduce anxiety for those who find traveling alone uncomfortable.
Intelyse specializes in Travel Risk Management, offering a complete risk management solution for those who want to protect their staff from the potential dangers of traveling for work. From creating a comprehensive travel and safety policy to implementing robust response plans, Intelyse helps companies mitigate their travel risks from start to finish.
