Join our team

Global Assistance Researchers (GAR) work in our 24/7 Global Assistance Centre (GAC), Dubai, United Arab Emirates. Responsibilities are to research and record incidents across two platforms using a variety of open sources and technologies in order to provide intelligent, timely, succinct and relevant information to develop situational awareness and inform clients. GARs also monitor and respond (manage or escalate) incoming check-ins, global SOS via the platform, or from telephone calls for general assistance initiated by our clients. They must be empathetic in their approach and able to confidently provide clear, concise, and supportive advice to mitigate risk and potential harm to clients’ employees and their assets.

GARs adhere to Standing Operating Procedures, Emergency Response Protocols, and Plans, whilst able to quickly and clearly escalate to on-site management.  The role requires the use of advanced technologies including our travel risk management and information management platforms to monitor the position of our clients and identify emerging risks.

Contact and Cooperation:

Works alongside the Senior Shift Engineers and is led on shift by the Global Assistance Coordinator. Communication and cooperation will be required with Senior Intelligence Researchers and the Regional Information Managers as part of their daily routine.

Key Requirements:

  • Become a trusted, integral and adept team member within the GAC operational environment
  • Scan, draft and upload emergency alerts and routine logging of global emerging risks to the Intelyse Incident Mapping Platform to provide raw information for Intelyse Regional Information Managers and clients to analyse.
  • Scan, draft and update the global Reach Travel Risk Management Platform with travel risk and country specific alerts
  • Be responsible for up to two countries to analyse and draft weekly updates for Regional Information Manager to review and publish
  • Administrative duties include basic platform management for alert creation and logging
  • Actively monitor and manage a multi-functional computer platform
  • Advise and react to incidents dependent on type and escalate response and personnel as required
  • Update and inform Global Assistance Coordinator or Assistance Associates when incidents occur, and escalate response if required
  • Answer GAC calls and provide timely and coherent initial advice and escalation
  • Ensure clear and recorded shift handover protocols are followed
  • Responsible to be aware of, stay up-to-date and adhere to all relevant SOPs and protocols

 

Qualifications & Skills:

Essential Functions

  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively in the English language. CEFR B2 is the minimum requirement for listening, reading, speaking and writing
  • Adaptive mindset which can balance information with risk and likelihood
  • Active listener, able to analyse and interpret information to facilitate required response
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to be comfortable talking to people in various emotional or sensitive states
  • Understanding of emergency response protocols and incident management
  • Able to work as part of a team
  • Maintain accurate administrative records and logs
  • Proficient on Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook)
  • Global awareness in relation to geopolitical and risk related incidents and states
  • Ability to adapt to a flexible routine that will include 8-12-hour shift work, including periods of night duties.
  • Resident, or prepared to move to the UAE. Global Researcher works from the Dubai office.

  • Bi-lingual, English plus a second or multiple other languages

Location of Position: UAE, Dubai office or Remote (part time)

Purpose of Role: The Intern will be responsible for assisting the Senior Researcher and Regional Information Manager (RIM) in creating alerts, briefings and analysis for Intelyse’s clients. The role may also require dedicated Quality Assurance / Quality Control (QAQC) products centred on accuracy of English as well as accuracy of content.

The role offers the opportunity for the intern to be exposed to various other parts of the company as and when is appropriate, ensuring expansion of professional experience.

Contact and Cooperation: Works in liaison with the Intelyse Researchers and is directly managed by one of the divisions heads of Intelyse.  

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Online research to investigate open-source material relating to current political and security updates
  2. Research and write individual country briefs, detailing profiles for risks of terrorism,
    criminality, in-country travel, local laws and customs, health, and other
  3. Other ad hoc research and reporting as requ
  4. Responsible to be aware, up-to-date and adhere to all related controls and policies for ISO 27001 and GDPR.

 

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Enrolled in or completed tertiary education.
  • Excellent writing skills in English; additional languages considered as an advantage
  • Knowledge of current international affairs, including security, political and economic issues
  • Familiarity with at least one of these regions: Africa, Asia/Pacific, Americas, Europe/CIS, MENA
  • Flexibility and ability to work in a small but international structure
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Reliability and ability to work remotely
  • Dynamic and well-organised, with an eye for detail
  • Good interpersonal skills

Purpose of Role: Design and produce graphic deliverables to maximise effect on the audience; from corporate branding to specific proposal content. Communicate complex concepts effectively in a visual medium. Supports marketing operations by collaborating on ideas, creating, compiling, formatting, and reporting relevant information and support materials for the Sicuro Group of companies.

Contact and Cooperation: Marketing team and business unit leaders on a daily basis. Regular interaction with commercial and senior managers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Designs and produces all marketing materials, including printed documents, templates, paid media advertising, social media imagery, websites, videos, mailshots, sales and marketing collateral required by the business units.
  • Assist with graphic and promotional design materials, contributing to ideas, using brand assets correctly and suggesting improvements to keep each brand modern and relevant.
  • Coordinate and improve processes related to creative filing and management of marketing graphics, collateral, business cards, images, etc.

4. Provides marketing tracking and research across best-in-class design and relevant industries by collecting, analysing, and summarising data and trends.

  • Liaise with business unit leaders and subject matter experts for market knowledge to contextualise graphic designs.
  • Assist in populating and updating marketing distribution lists including sales contacts and potential leads.
  • Manage group social media accounts, posting regularly in consultation with the Executive Manager, business unit leaders and senior management.
  • Handles marketing suppliers and printers ensuring an appropriate standard of quality is achieved.

9. Maintains marketing library; images, product sheets, presentations, sales and marketing collateral.

10. Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.

  • Responsible to be aware, up-to-date and adhere to all related controls and policies for ISO 27001, 9001, 22301 and GDPR.

Qualifications & Skills:

  • Degree in Design, Marketing, or a related field
  • Writing (excellent English spelling and grammar) and proof-reading
